Your team

A team member is one record shared with Upscale ERP. The same person who appears as a column on your calendar is the person commissions are paid to.

Adding someone

Team then add. A name is all that is required. Title, email, phone and tags are optional and useful later: tags like barber or beautician help when you have twenty people and want to find the three who do braids.

You can also manage the same list from ERP under Settings, Lists, Staff. Both screens write to the same record.

Who performs what

Tick the services each person does. You can work from either end: open a team member and tick their services, or open a service and tick the people. Both directions update the same link.

This drives availability. A client picking a service is only offered times from people who perform it.

Working hours

Set each person's usual week. Someone with no hours will never be offered, which is the first thing to check when your booking page looks emptier than it should.

Different hours for one day

Give someone a late start on a Thursday and it replaces that day's usual shift rather than adding to it. Remove the override and their normal pattern returns.

Time off

Block a day, or part of one, and that person disappears from availability for it. The public page stops offering them straight away.

Blocking a day does not touch visits already booked in it. Those are promised to clients, so they stay, and only new availability changes. Cancel or move them yourself if that is what you meant.

Archiving

Archiving keeps the record and its history but removes the person from every picker and from the calendar. Their subscribed calendar feed stops working at the same time, with nothing to reset by hand.

Calendar feeds

Each person can subscribe to their own schedule from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. See Calendar feeds.
