Your personal account is separate from your organizations. You sign in to Upscale with one account and use it across every product and every organization you belong to. This page explains where to manage your own profile and security, and how sessions work.

Your account vs. your organization

It helps to keep two things distinct:

  • Your account: your name, email, password and sign-in security. This is personal to you and the same everywhere you use Upscale.
  • Your membership: your role and access within a specific organization. This is managed by that organization's admins under Members.

Managing your profile and password

Your personal profile and password are managed in your Upscale account area (the shared sign-in/account experience used by every product). From there you can:

  • Update your name and personal details.
  • Change your password and manage sign-in security.

You can reach account and security settings from the account/profile menu while signed in.

Password requirements and forced changes

In some cases Upscale will require you to set a new, stronger password before you can continue, for example after accepting certain invitations. When this happens you're routed to the change-password screen automatically and must complete it before proceeding.

Note

Accepting an invitation to the Upscale HQ platform always triggers a required password change, because platform access is held to a stronger password standard.

Sessions and devices

A session is created each time you sign in on a device. Your organization's admins can see how many devices each member is signed in on and, if needed, sign a member out of all devices (see Members & invitations). Session reports show device, IP address, sign-in method and last-active time; your actual sign-in tokens are never exposed.

If you suspect your account is signed in somewhere it shouldn't be, change your password and ask an admin to sign you out of all devices.

Switching organizations

Because your account spans every organization you belong to, you don't sign in again to move between them. Use the organization switcher in the top bar. See Organizations.
