Payment options are configured once at the organization level in the Hub and shared across your products. This is where you connect the processors that collect card and mobile-money payments, and define the offline methods (cash, bank transfer, cheque) your team records manually. Both ERP and Billing use these methods when collecting payments, so you set them up in one place.
To manage them, go to Settings → Payment Options.
Payment gateways
A gateway connects a payment processor so you can collect electronic payments. The gateways list shows each connected processor, its status, environment, and which products it applies to.
Connecting a gateway
- In Settings → Payment Options, under Payment gateways, choose Add gateway.
- Select the provider and enter the credentials it requires.
- Choose which apps (ERP, Billing) the gateway applies to, and set it as the default for those apps if appropriate.
- Save. The gateway appears in the list with a status.
Managing gateways
- Use the toggle on a gateway row to enable or disable it without removing it.
- Choose the edit (pencil) action to update its settings or credentials.
- A gateway can be marked as the default for one or more apps, and may run in a sandbox environment for testing. Both are shown as badges on the row.
Warning
Offline & manual methods
Offline methods cover payments your team records by hand: cash, bank transfer, cheque, and similar. They don't connect to a processor.
Adding an offline method
- In Settings → Payment Options, under Offline & manual methods, choose Add method.
- Give the method a name and, optionally, a description.
- Configure its behaviour: which apps it applies to, whether it can be marked as the default, whether it requires a note at checkout, and whether it's available for cash sales.
- Save.
Managing offline methods
- Each method can be enabled or disabled and edited from its row.
- Badges show at a glance whether a method is the default for an app, requires a note, or is available for cash sales.
